Founded in the mid 1800s as a small farming community along an old Indian trail, Olivette was incorporated in 1930. It was once called Central due to it centralized location along the Central Plank Road (now called Olive Blvd).
Located in St Louis County and is approximately 5 miles NW of the City of St Louis’ borders, Olivette is convenient to all kinds of shopping, entertainment and recreational facilities.
This older, established community offers a wide variety of home styles and prices. The real estate offering ranges from small frame ranch-style homes to luxurious three-story brick mansions with prices from $180,000 to $800,000.
